Bringing Award-Winning Ensembles to the San Antonio Community for Over 83 Years

As the President of the San Antonio Chamber Music Society, I’m honored to continue the rich tradition of an organization that promotes diverse, world-class programming and community engagement. As a non-profit, 501(c)(3) organization, the SACMS is the first permanent presenter of chamber music established in the State of Texas in 1943, and its board takes pride in its rich history as it plans a future filled with musical luminaries.

The mission of the San Antonio Chamber Music Society (SACMS) is to bring to San Antonio and its surrounding area chamber music concerts performed by outstanding chamber music ensembles from around the world at affordable prices, and to provide educational activities promoting the appreciation of chamber music in general.

As the new President, I look forward to giving regular pre-concert lectures that provide deeper insights into the context of the program, and Q&A sessions with the musicians at intermission that let our audiences see a more personal side to the art and artists. Visit sacms.org to learn more.
